Advertisement

Duck , I'm for sure you have been tought about this maybe , to advertise on our website to make extra cash and it could be a extra help for the donations?.
I was just wondering and curious, if it is possible something like this idea to go for it ?.

I am starting to consider it.

 The reason I haven`t in the past is mostly because I am sick of advertising everywhere on the web and I personally feel it has no place on a small clan site. It would be nice if we had somewhere to go without ads in our way.

2nd Reason is because they are not likely to generate a lot of revenue. I think we`d be lucky to raise $5 per month from ads cause we don`t have alot of traffic. So again makes me think should we splash our pages with ads for a measly $5? I dunno. But he I guess $5 is better than nothin. I tried to keep the site clean but if people won't step up then screw it I guess.

The other thing you gotta watch out for is keylogger advertisements or exploit ads.  Those types of ads will black list the site without warning.  I have been around those sites that have been black listed for no reason because of the ad hoster refuses to remove the exploit or trojaner ad.  So be careful……
